Full bathroom rebuilds and new basement bathrooms, with waterproofing done right.

A bathroom rebuild in the same layout usually does not need a permit. Adding a bathroom, or moving the toilet, tub or shower drain, does, because it changes the plumbing.

The shower is where most bathroom failures start. Walls and floor get a waterproofing membrane behind the tile, sloped properly to the drain, and the exhaust fan is vented outside, not into the attic.

A new basement bathroom often needs the floor cut for drains, or an up-flush system where the main drain is too high. We check the drain depth before quoting.

Expect three to five weeks for a full bathroom once work starts, depending on tile and custom glass.
